Pregnancy is a beautiful thing! By having an abortion you are basically killing another person, but it is your flesh and blood living inside of you. People have abortions because they think that is the only option when they can't have a baby. Most teenagers that are pregnant think of this when they first find out they are pregnant. Teenage pregnancy has a bigger abortion rate than seeing them keep the baby. Most pregnancies are planned, those that are not planned consider abortion. Rape victims possibly may consider abortion because they do not want to have the memory of how that child was made. If this was discussed with a pro-life activist then they would let you know that abortion is murder by the child's parents. The parents agree to the abortion and they let it happen to there baby, so when they give the doctor the money and sign that dotted line to agree. The parents just signed to murdered their own child. Many pro-life activist feel very strong about abortion and will let everyone know the consequences. Most people don't know the effects of an abortion. The parents may get an abortion as late as 5 months into the pregnancy depending on the state they live in. Early abortions can be done with medication and most parents say it is easier this way because they just see a blood clot that comes out. After the first month of being pregnant parents say that it gets harder to get rid of the child because they you start too see an actual child growing inside you. By seeing this most says it makes it harder to do. Abortions at later stages of pregnancies can be difficult. Later abortions the doctor has to kill the baby inside of you and then pull it out safely dead. If the child comes out alive then you have a premature baby that will most likely die. If this happens then it is the doctors fault and he may be sued for doing this to your child. Abortions are extremely expensive and most cannot afford them unless they have help from family and/or friends because of the price. Bringing your family and friends into the abortion will make it more difficult on all of them because they are now all part of the situation. While considering an abortion people may think that they are just killing a blob of flesh and blood. Some even say that they can't tell it is a fully developed baby until month 5 or more so it wont hurt the child. People can be extremely uninformed about abortion when they are making this decision. Some parents to be think that everything will be okay when they take a pill that makes the baby die. Others think that they cannot have the baby because it will ruin there life. These people are not thinking clearly because they don't know the consequences to their body, friends, family, or even the baby. When people consider abortion they don't think about the baby, they don't understand that the baby is a living, breathing, child. Even in the embryo the child is still alive! Pro-choice activist are very open about there opinions and make sure to help others understand the decisions they are making when they agree to abortion.

Life is precious. Abortion is murder.

Pro-life activist feel very strongly about making abortion illegal because they think that abortion is murder. Having a baby is a huge responsibility whether your 16 and pregnant or 30 and pregnant it is a lot to take on so suddenly. Being pregnant, having a baby, having an abortion, giving the child up for adoption are all difficult decision. Being pro-life means that you believe each child no matter how developed they are in the embryo has a chance to live. Questions that people think about when considering abortion would be;

What if my child is famous?
Is my child a boy or a girl?
What if my child could make a difference?
Will I miss my child?
Will my child feel pain when it happens?
Will I be okay?
Will everyone hate me when this is done with?
Will people know what I have done?
Is it safe?

All of these questions are extremely important to consider before having an abortion. Each one is something that the parents should consider. The soon to be parents should be informed of what is going to happen. They should know what exactly is going to happen to them, there child, and the severe consequences of there decision. In 2001 a study was done to see how many women need counseling after they had gone thru with an abortion. During this study they found out that 15% of women went to counseling after having an abortion. Some of the other women that didn't go to counseling had some hidden issues that they wouldn't discuss so they kept these issues to them selves. By keeping issues like these too one's self can cause serious damage to there strength. Keeping things bottled up and not sharing with others can cause one person to self destruct. Having an abortion is a lot of money, then to consider those that need counseling afterwards to stay sane makes the price go up even more. Abortion is something that should not be taken lightly. A strong support group will help any parent get thru those tough decisions in life. Pro-life activist are always willing to help those who want to learn about pro-life options because then they get people to understand what they see.
